Potty training usually doesn’t start overnight — it comes gradually, with small signs, trials, and successes. At one moment the child no longer wants a diaper, at another they want to do everything themselves, and at a third moment the pee almost makes it to the potty… and sometimes not quite. Nulu Organic Cotton Training Pants were created just for this in-between time.

They are no longer diapers, but they aren’t just regular underwear either. They are a soft, breathable in-between stage that helps the child learn to sense their body better, while smaller accidents don’t immediately mean a big mess.

Natural awareness matters in potty training

One of the most important things for a child in potty training is learning to notice the connection between their body, feelings, and actions. If the pants keep everything too dry and hidden, this important lesson often becomes weaker. But if everything runs straight down the legs, the whole process becomes tiring for both the child and the parent. Nulu Organic Cotton Training Pants were designed with exactly this balance in mind. These training pants have no waterproof plastic layer or a fleece that creates a false sense of dryness. Against the child’s skin lies soft organic cotton jersey, which is breathable, gentle, and comfortable to wear. This is especially important in warmer weather, when the skin needs more air and heavy, stuffy materials no longer feel very comfortable.

Spring and summer are often the most pleasant time to start potty training. There are fewer clothes, laundry dries faster, and the child can move around more freely. That’s exactly when it helps to wear pants that support learning naturally, while also being soft, breathable, and gentle against the child’s skin.

Nulu Organic Cotton Training Pants are made of organic cotton twill and jersey. Two absorbent layers of organic cotton terry are added at the crotch, making four absorbent layers in total. The total density of the crotch area reaches almost 1060 gsm, giving the pants just the right amount of absorbency so that smaller accidents don’t immediately turn into a big mess, while the child still keeps the awareness that they’ve had an accident.

In addition to the materials, it also matters how the pants stay on the child. Training pants need to be comfortable to wear, good for running, climbing, and playing in, and quick to pull down when needed. That’s why the cut is designed so the pants keep their shape nicely, sit comfortably, and stay in place even during an active day.

Sizes:

Available in three sizes:

• M – 6–10 kg / 62–80 cm

• L – 10–14 kg / 74–92 cm

• XL – 14–18 kg / 86–104 cm

If your child falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. Training pants should fit comfortably, stay in place well, and be easy for the child to pull up and down.

Care instructions:

Wash at up to 40°C.

Avoid using fabric softener.

Dry in the open air.

The absorbent layers reach their best performance after a few washes.
